Hello, im new to these forums and im also a proud first time owner of an 06 black gt. Since i dont really know a lot about mustangs yet, i have a stupid question. I was wondering what this red bar was that is going over the engine and what it is for.

It's a strut tower brace that stiffens the front end for better handling.

Sorry, just couldn't help. Just kidding. There's no such thing as a stupid question. Personally, I was a newbie to automobile sites and I learned a lot just by reading the posts over time.
