My '66 fastback has Shelby underide traction bars. I want to install a set of weld in sub frame connectors, but looking at some of the products, the rear (diff) end of the connectors seem to weld in at the point where my traction bar front brackets are already welded to the body.

Does anybody know of a set of weld in frame connectors which won't interfere with my traction bars ?. The Global West connectors appear to weld in higher up the rear chassis frame and look as though they may be ok...

I have the same set up on my car. I had the welder drill through the sub-frames and weld in a support tube. Then I bolted the traction masters through the subframes.

I'll see if I can get a picture for you.

With the TCP sub frame bars...you would need to break the welds on the current underriders....on the plus side...the TCP bars have a 'pocket' built in to reweld the underriders too giving you a much stronger mounting point for them.
