I just bought a set of bolt-in subframe connectors, which I also plan to weld in for extra strength after they are installed. Does anyone here have any tips about installing these? Can i do the work using jackstands, or do I need to have the car on a lift? Any help is appreciated.

I installed a set of TCP sub-frame connectors on my 68. Welding is the strongest and best method. There is not enough thick metal in a mustang frame to bolt up to. I put the car up on four jack stands at the same height all the way around and tack welded the connectors on, double checked everything then welded the ends all the way around with a lot of heat on the stick welder. I drag race it often and it is holding up well. It has not helped my 60' times at all.
