Ok, got a 03 GT vert and one of the first mods I want to do is the subframes. What type do you all recommend and what kind of shop do you recommend put them on? (auto repair, body, muffler?) Can I buy them from AM and have the shop put them on? I heard you want to have them use a lift that you drive up on and not a 4 corner frame lift. This makes sense, is it recommended? Thanks in advance guys.

I got the MM FLSFC's and they are awesome. I had Street & Strip install ine when I had my front struts, new tires, and alignment done, so I can't tell ya what they charge for just the SFC's. I believe they charge by the hour and not by what kind of job it is though.

Did you buy them from Street and Strip or did you take the connectors to them to weld on? Where is Street and Strip located? Thanks again.

Thanks, I know exactly where that is. Didn't know their name and just thought they were a parts store, didn't know they did installs.

It's more than recommended, it's essential.

Subframe connectors are subframe connectors. They are all just a piece of metal that stiffens your frame up, i have the MM full length ones on my current car but i had the cheap blue oval ones off ebay on my 94 and they worked just fine.

The only real difference you'll find is the full length and standard sizes. I recommend the full lengths...

Talk to some of your local shops... I just got a set put on my car this past Friday for $130 out the door. The shop owner makes them for Mustangs, and fabbed up a set and threw them on mine. Full length, welded in subframe connectors for $130 out the door sounds pretty damn good to me!
