I'm looking to get subframe connectors for my 96 GT convertible. After looking on the internet I see that some are made for coupes and some convertibles. Any recommendations for the best ones to fit a convertible? Also, how do I determine if the car has the seat support bracket that I see mentioned in order to do a bolt-on installation?

Just make sure you get full-length SFC's. Otherwise you are wasting your time.

Yeah the MM full length ones are one of the best. Just make sure your car is lifted by a drive-up ramp and not lifted by the chassis when you get it welded on.

Absolutely. It has to have the weight on the wheels. Don't let some dumb ass mechanic do it any other way.

Yeah I took my subframe connectors to some generic muffler shop after being recommended by a friend. At first I thought they did a good job but then found out they mounted the subframe connectors on like an inch or so too far back and the welds were not that clean at all. Really sucks...
