i have an 03 gt that im getting ready to put subframe connectors on. i noticed a kind of subframe connector that branched out to the pinch rails on the edge of the body. i understand that they are used to jack a car up and not crunch the pinch weld but i was wondering if they make the chassis any stiffer?

Their primary purpose is to stiffen the chassis I thought, and my MM full-length subframes do that superbly. On top of that, I finally have sturdy jack points from front to rear

Yeah, that's what they're primarily designed for, the new jack points are just a bonus. The chassis in our cars are like spaghetti noodles.

Perhaps we're misreading what you're asking... are you wondering if full length provide more stiffening over standard SFC's? If so, I think you'll find that most people swear by full length. Some cars benefit from full length more than others... and our stangs are one of those cars I believe.
