So I am looking to weld in some new sub frames in my 99 gt vert. My car already has those factory subframes. My question is would these (link) be a upgrade over stock? They are only 43" long as opposed to mm 65" full length model. At the same time I am trying to save money so is it really worth the extra $?

thanks

You are looking at almost 2 feet of shortness here...get the full 65" connectors...well worth the extra penny...

Well now I have decided that i am just going to build my own. I can get higher quality material for half the cost.
Anyone have any experience or advice?

ANY subframes would be an improvement over the stock ones. Full lengths aren't really necessary, the regular ones would be fine.

I'll be getting my car back in a few days, and I'll let you know if the MM FLSC's were worth it.

I have Maximum Motorsports XL Sub frame Connectors on my Mustang convertible....They go from the torque box (rear) to the firewall (front) and are powdercoated. Strong enough that i can lift the whole side of the car with a floor jack under the sub frame.
