My 08 Bullitt at 115k miles is thinking about needing a new clutch.

What brands are recommended. I mostly want a stockish feel that will last another 100k or so.

I have heard the flywheel on these should not be resurfaced, is that true? Is it necessary to change it?

Is it also necessary to change the hydraulic cylinder?

The flywheel won't need to be replaced unless it's scored or damaged in another way. However some aftermarket clutch assemblies are only compatible with the same brand of flywheel so you may need to replace it anyway. Since the tranny has to be removed to replace the clutch assembly/flywheel, it's a good idea to replace the slave cylinder, T.O. bearing, and crank pilot bearing at the same time to save on further labor costs down the road. I'd also recommend replacing the plastic hydraulic clutch line with a braided steel unit for longevity.
I went for the McLeod RXT dual disk clutch assembly with billet steel flywheel some 2-1/2 years ago and I'm very happy with it. Yes it's expensive but dual disk is the way to go if you want a clutch that can handle 900hp with a stock-like pedal weight.
