I may be asking for a lot but here goes. I need some suggestions on some exhaust packages that are relatively quiet. I'm really trying to achieve a complete sleeper, plain Jane looks and as quiet as I can get (aside from the BOV of course). I'm pretty sure there aren't any out there that have the decibel levels of stock but any suggestions would be great. Lmk

I was thinkin that also. But I do want a little bit of a growl and a little less restriction than stock.

Nevermind this post every1 I have discovered something wonderful. I believe it's called the "search" function.

I hear the Corsa mufflers are pretty damn quiet until you come onto it. Might be wrong though.

A lot of things come into play which makes it hard to duplicate
what others have done

If you got the cats removed ... it is gonna be louder

Then again ... if you got cats ... are they high flow or oem

Horse power level will always make a difference

The more hp ... the louder it is gonna be ... no matter what

Your best chance of low db levels will be with cats of some sort

Dynomax super turbo catback. 2 1/2" with very stockish looking tailpipes but larger diameter of course. One of the quietest performance mufflers out there.

IDK about the super turbo's but I know Flowmasters kill hp in turbo cars.

Disregard.

These are two entirely different parts with entirely different functions.

The answer is YES, he will need a bov. He'll likely need an external wastegate given the size of the turbos used on these cars; but if its dumped back into the exhaust vs. externally it'll be much quieter.

I have a cat less pro chamber with regular magnaflows and it's pretty quiet at idle, but when you get on it sounds like a nice exotic growl? don't know how to explain it but it sounds pretty good like a high end sports car.

To be honest, put what ever mufflers you want....make sure they are NOT chambered with the turbo....Find some straight-through style like a glasspack or dynomax, etc

Just putting a turbo(s) on a car makes it SUPER quiet. with my twin turbos and just glasspacks, my car was quieter then a stock car with just a cat-back.

Chambered mufflers on a turbo car is a no-no like said above. Three chamber flows on a turbo car? Terrible idea.

You're car will be sleeping, but not just in the looks department.

What you want is a straight through design with reflective qualities, like a Corsa Power Pulse muffler. Google "reflective muffler" if you want to read all about exhaust pulses and cancelling sound waves out.

That was a lot of reading. And they used big words
My friends car is N/A so I forgot to take that into account. Thanks Adam
