Send back the summit cable and get the Ford cable. Then buy a decent quality firewall adjuster. The extra money is WELL SPENT. I've never seen a Ford cable last less than 100K miles and I've never seen an aftermarket cable last more than 20K miles. Maybe just me, but That's been the case for me over a dozen times now with the Fords and 4 times with the aftermarkets.
