Get a stock Ford clutch cable and a firewall adjuster. You will be happy you did.

Send back the summit cable and get the Ford cable. Then buy a decent quality firewall adjuster. The extra money is WELL SPENT. I've never seen a Ford cable last less than 100K miles and I've never seen an aftermarket cable last more than 20K miles. Maybe just me, but That's been the case for me over a dozen times now with the Fords and 4 times with the aftermarkets.

Go to www.fordracingparts.com and look for part number M-7553-A302.
You get a brand new OE Ford clutch cable and a new clutch fork for $46.00.
