Summit sent my head gaskets and they bent

They were just 1011-1's but they were both bent, one wasn't too bad, but the other has a dent in the fire ring...

I was just about to install the heads

I thought I saw on here, that Advance auto has a hg like the 1011's but a bit better, for less money? Anyone know the part number

Call summit and see if they will overnight you another set. Usually any parts like that i get through advance have to be ordered, so your time would be about the same.

The average crappy parts store chain should have Felpro head gaskets for a 5.0.

summit will replace them quickly, they seem to be really good about replacing damaged parts

I agree with the summit thing. They have overnighted me stuff that Was ruined or wasnt placed in my order free of charge, no questions asked
