just to help you guys out, all you need is a pair of stock none power sliders, and 4 pieces of flat steel stock. you can make adapters to bolt your aftermarket seats to the stock rails, after welding the plate to them . thats how my recaros are mounted and it lowered the seats about an inch or more which i happen to like. hope this info helps out on your fute seat instals

I am thinking about those seats in my cobra. It has the saddle interior. Does anybody know how well the tan summit seats match the saddle interior?

I'll piggyback Snakebit since this is an oldie but goodie. How do you folks think these seats hold up? Anyone with a DD with them? I'm worried about wearing the outside bolster during ingress/egress.

And would a 260# former powerlifter fit (36" waist, 64" chest circumference)?

i was wondering the same thing before i ordered mine, but i ended up ordering the black ones instead and im glad i did...they set up a nice contrast in the interior....

Yeah they look good in there. I thought about that with mine, but in 98 the door panels and rear side panels are solid tan. I think the black seats would contrast a little too much with the tan door panels. With the pictures side by side they look close, but man, if they're 1 frikkin shade off they are gonna look absolutely horrid.

Also, on a side note, I see that you too have a tan stering wheel with a case of the gungharot. Mine looks awful.

My car is a DD and they are holding up pretty good. So far the only thing that went wrong is one of the plastic inserts(where a 4 pt harness or whatver would go) popped out but that was an easy fix with a dab of glue for security. Also one of the knobs to recline it broke off but that was partially my fault.

I may definitely have to look into getting these... Do either of you guys have any pictures from the outside of the vehicle, like with the door shut, looking in. Mainly, I'm just curious to see what the seatback looks like since it sits up higher.

I see in the back seat you have one of those old ass steering wheel to brake club. I thought I was the only one who still has that old relic (smiles). I've had mine since 1986 when I purchased my 80 Toyota Supra. Ahh, it brings back fond memories.

Peace

Wow, you must be huge cause im a fairly large fellow and my waist ranges from 32"-36" depending on if im cutting or bulking, and my chest, (underneath armpit measurment) is between 49" and 50"

Update: Seats are doing very well still. I put in a manual seat rail for the drivers side and lost another 8 pounds. Seats are holding up good, but the plastic inserts for the 4 pt harness would pop out a little so I put a small dab of superglue and it hasnt bothered me anymore. Also, a little bit of foam has been falling out of the seat from (im guessing) when I tilt the seats foward. No big deal, just need to vacuam it probably once a month before it comes noticible. I think if I were to do it again, I would go with a Recaro or something just too loose more weight (hopefully) and I think they look a little nicer. Dont get me wrong, the seats are awesome, especially for the price BUT you do get what you pay for.
