Anyone have real world experiences with the Summit Stage II intake manifold? I'm was looking for a Weiand Stealth intake, but noticed the Summit intake looks pretty much identical for $55,- less.
If the Summit intake has quality issues I'd rather spend the extra $$ for the Weinad part, so anyone have hands on expierience?

I did sound a wee bit gay there.

not had any experience but have studied up on it and it seems to be a ok intake but just as every summit brand part u must watch what u buy cause they tend to over exagerate it's performance and quality.

Somebody posted in the classic forum about the summit intake. It was said to have poor casting and quality. Spend the extra money and get a Stealth.

i saw one at summit in the clearance section an it looked ok. appeared to have decent quality but you can't tell until you try an bolt it on an see how well everything lines up an seals. if you're patient you can get the real deal used on ebay for about what summit wants for the no name copy.

I think Weiand or some othe well known manufacturer actually makes the manifolds for Summit so you should be ok, but I'd research it a bit more.

taylor makes the cheapo summit brand wires, and they worked OK for my app.

PS: just because a name-brand mfr. makes the manifolds for summit in no way guarantees the quality of the part.
