I sold my LX a year ago and have been mostly working on my 2000 Lightning. I love the Lightning but it leaves me craving more speed. It's fast but inconsistent and costs a ton. I posted a month ago about missing my Fox body. As I am a man of means and action I went ahead and bought a supercharged coupe. It's fairly built. It's got a 306 with AFR heads, an S trim, a c4 with brake and some other stuff. I was set to start working on it but along came another car that had a DSS forged 347 with stage 3 foxlake ported Canfields, a matching Victor 5.0 intake and more happy stuff....I bought it cheap with very little miles on the drivetrain. The car is a roach but has almost 10k in receipts for the motor and bolt-ons alone. It even has a Tremec TKO in it. Anyway, tomorrow night myself and 2 friends are going to swap motors and exhausts between the two cars and we're going to install a fuel system, a K member and tubular suspension, spherical bushings, 4 wheel coilovers and put in a new wiring harness in the coupe. It's a lot of work to do at once. My friend is letting me use his shop which has unlimited air and 2 lifts. Do you guys think it can be done in 12-14 hours? I will take plenty of pictures.
