What is the quitest muffler you know of to your knowledge. I'm planning on making a 2.3T sleeper and I need a super quiet muffler. Something that can quiet down around 375-415 RWHP.

im running dual 94 gt "stock" mufflers. They are pretty dang quiet. When you get 375-415 hp theres nothing you can do to make that quiet under a load, unless your spraying.

Best i have seen is mufflers' in series...but that looks like to much effort for a "sleeper".

Once you start the race you want care about under load noise It's that at idle you want quite and I don't see it happening on a 375rwhp 2.3T, even with juice. I would think that big cam you would need to reach that hp goal would give it away.

Here is a link to build a killer 2.3T sleeper O and use a single exhaust system to make it really look like a I4/V6 type car

You wanna dump it in front of the axle? Well, unless you're planning on running one of those two foot long RV mufflers, good luck on making it quiet.

Yup.

A turn down is just going to increase the noise level unlike a full exhaust system with a tail pipe. Also keep in mind a single exhaust tail pipe showing will go a loooonnggg ways in making your car look like a sleeper besides making it quite

Then here is what you do to help improve your sleeper status.

Buy cheap baby seat and mount it where people can see it clearly. Then go on line and find some bumper stickers that mentions stuff like like : Slow & Steady Wins the Race" or " Speed Kills". Just for added bonus buy a American flag, your state flag, and a Bush sticker for your rear window I promise they'll never even think you or your car could or would do 5mph over the limit Not that I would support any type of Street racing activities

...yeah and lose your soul(do some research on them and you'll know why they board up their meeting places; they worship Lucifer)anyway a buddy of mine tells a story of how a state trooper rolled up(no lights or siren)on this guy doing a very high rate of speed on the highway, well when the trooper saw the 33rd degree symbol on the vehicle he just slowed down and faded back into the night. They own everything maaan!

Well I'm not bored enough to research it but I have a friend who is one. He got into some trouble once with the law over a stck of low lvl parking tickets and ended up in jail. The sherif just walked up shook his hand and out the door he went This sherif is like a one man war on crime of any kind and would lock a Jay walker up even if they was crossing the street to the hospital about to die. Anyways he told me some things about their meetings and it was weird but nothing like worshing Lucifer. Either way I don't care because a) I was only joking about joining them and b) their way to powerful for me to stop I just make sure whos one and stay away from them. O and the Mormans
