Supercharger and plugs?

Hey just wondering what you supercharged guys are gapping your plugs at? I got stock ingition.

Anybody running the Denso Iridiums? I hear they're the best plug for nitrous and I figured they would be good for supercharged cars as well. Let me know. Thanks. I will also look into the NGK's. About how much are they?

Also do you guys have stock ignitions and what wires are you running? I have the Taylor Race wires 10.5 I think they are...huge I know that.

I'm using Denso Iridium. They are high quality plugs but expensive. Check out NGKs. For a supercharger application I would use one heat range cooler thank stock to make the engine less prone to detonation.

How do I know which heat range is cooler than stock? Do you have a part # for the NGK that is one range cooler than stock? Of course my stock might be different from your stock I think you have a GT and mine is a Cobra. Is there a difference on the plugs as far as stock heat range ? Also does anyone else have opinions on going one heat range cooler?

NGK TR-6's part # is 4177.....not sure about the difference in plugs between the 4V and 2V though.....

cobra killer uses one that is two steps colder in his kits , not sure which number NGK that is , I think deadlurker has a link to a thread on a modularmustangs.net forum on this subject

BR7EF stock number 3346 are two steps colder

I use the Denso Iridium IT-20's with the gap they were shipped with. This is what Kenne Bell recommends......

I run awsf 22c's(ford plugs) gapped @ .35 .
One step colder is fine .Two steps is a little much for a street car with little boost.
