I just replaced my word supercharger belt on my Fox Body. Has a Vortech S-Trim with stock pulley set up. I usually check by hand on the tightness of it. I'm just not sure if I tightened it too much, don't want to cause any damage to the supercharger. What process do you guys use to check on how tight it is?

about as tight as you can get with little deflection. It will loosen up over time and need adjusting. Anderson and a guy on another site sell a nifty self adjuster that tightens up the belt with a set screw.
