Guys; I know that a dyno tune is the best but the nearest is over 2 hours away. Given my mods shown below will a mail order custom chip be any help? The car runs fine but I feel like there is still hp to be gained from better timing and A/F control. If a chip might help, which do you recommend?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks! Will call today. I'd like to find out what happens with my ignition retard and FMU if I put in a chip, any info?

I would dump the fmu and get larger injectors.

Yep I agree. Mike in Texas I'm running the same blower as you. I ditched the fmu and bought bigger injectors. My tuner said he wouldn't even do a tune with the fmu on the car. I put a Chipmaster Revolution chip in my J3 port and the car runs real sweet!
