Hey everyone, Im looking for a supercharger for my stang. I was browsing ebay and found several Vortech superchargers with varing prices. From 1800 to 2600 dollars, they were v2-sq trim. They put out 6-8 psi...My question is what are the differences?? t trim,s trim need help and confused...I have a fresh motor with forged pistons and Trick Flow top end. Any help would be appreciated...

I would say you should visit their website. They have in depth information on each blower, what the max output is on each, what type of setup you need for them, what comes with each kit, etc.

EDIT: To find out about the specific blower in each kit (i.e. T-Trim, SC-Trim, etc), click the linked blower name in the item description). It will bring you to a page like this (t-trim): http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/units/t-trim.html , that has ALL of the specs on that unit.

What kinda power or psi do you wanna run that will help choose the right setup for you.

Thanks guys, Im looking 6-9 psi. Just want good effiecient power. I have a couple of grand to get the supercharger and a dyno tune...

The V1 for 1800 has straight cut gears and the V2 for 2600 has curved. they both put out the same CFM but the V2 has a better step up ratio and boost starts to build earlier in rpms.

Also V1 is much louder than the V2 due to the gear design

S trim is a great blower. It will support what your doing now and more if you ever go to a better block. I believe it can support 600+ HP.

You wont be unhappy with a Vortech.
