After looking at some dynos for roots and twin screw, I wanted to compare them to a centrifugal (Vortech, Paxton) dyno. Anybody that has boosted their car, please post your mods and dyno graphs here. I am specifically looking for the graphs so I can analyze powerband and torque curves. Thanks!

It was actually your dyno graphs that got me interested in this topic. PSI would help too, as well as other mods. I know that is in your sig, but are you really running the full 9psi?

Guys, its pretty pointless to just show the final numbers when comparing a centi and a roots blower...

Roots make a ton more power downlow, centi make a tun more up top.

My point is exactly yours White360; I want the graphs so I can see what is really going on. Thanks for the input though.

Jon

P.S. TruBlu, what kind of boost you running? I need psi too.

Let's see....

My website is currently down but I do have these two vids:
www.diman24.com/videos/DeadLurkerDyno398RWHP.wmv
www.diman24.com/videos/boostguage.wmv

I'm currently at 398rwhp and 376rwtq SAE with the Steeda tune but I've maxed it out and plan to upgrade to 42s and a LMAF and then get a custom tune from Tim(Cobra Killer)

I'm currently seeing about 11-12psi but when we dynoed the car it was really cold outside so once it warms up I should lose some of that extra boost from the cold weather. I'm talking like below 40 temps.

My Mods:
-Mongoose Kit(Vortech SQ)
-Paxton Intercooler
-Steeda Powerpipe
-RR 3.3 Pulley
-Vortech Mini Race
-Bassani X Pipe (with cats)
-Bassani Catback
-3.73 Gears

I ran a 12.3 with only 363rwhp so I'm looking to get one 11 second timeslip something this year.

Kamran, was that with drag radials or street tires?

At first I wanted to run a 12 on street tires but the best I ever got was a 13.1@110mph with my factory tires, vortech(stock pulley) and bassani exhaust.

After that I gave up and got some BFG dr's and went 12.8s...then I got the 3.73s gears....opps forgot to add that ...and then ran 12.3.

Good numbers man.

I'm going to the track next Saturday for the first time and I already have someone willing to lend me their DR's for a couple of runs. I won't even bother making runs with the 18's on there......

It took a lot of practice and a really good burnout to get my times...good luck.

For you supercharger guys, will somebody see more boost if they open up the exhaust? I know you can get more boost if you open the intake, right?

Good numbers Texas--I didn't see a dyno graph though.

Awesome numbers 00s281--that torque curve is rediculous...if I could call that flat line a curve! It also looks like you have more power to be found past the stock rev limiter.
