supercharger or nitrous on a oil burning motor?

Well I was thinking about putting either a 100 shot or 6 psi on my motor until it lets go. How much faster do you think (if at all) the engine will die. And after I rebuild the motor what is a safe supercharger nitrous combo I was thinking 8 PSI with a 50 shot for an extra kick but wasent sure. All forged internals will be used on the rebuild on the stock block. Thanks alot guys.

if you plan to blow it sky-high, just slap a 150 shot on it, and go for broke...

but if you're going to assemble a new engine, honestly, its a waste of time, money, and weight to install a forged crank into a stock block...the crank would handle more than the block could...

a good cast steel crank from Scat, or Eagle would serve you well, and be alot less expensive (about $200 for a new crank), same goes for the rods, also about $200 a set for Scat forged I-beams...you can have fun with the pistons though, get a set of Probes, or something of that ilk, and you'll be set...until the block gives way

they have some great prices, and good availability. I squared away a Scat 331 crank, Scat 4340 I-beam cap screw rods, and probe dished pistons with total seal conventional rings from them for $900, the only thing I had to get to finish up the internals was the bearings. the other parts, like the oil pump, oil pump driveshaft, gaskets, and such will be purchased at a later date, but for what I paid, I think I got a good deal
