you might as well upgrade to some stage I or II cams while you're doing it. you'll definetly get more power out of aftermarket cams than the stock Ford PI cams.
This is true, but the impression I got was he was looking to up the performance for as little money possible. A set of used PI cams for under $100 sounds a heck of a lot better for a set of aftermarket ones for $550-$600.
