I've been looking at getting a Vortech Supercharger, Part # FG218020SQ. I can get it brand new for $2647.76.

Do any of you guys have this kit? Does it include everything that I'll need to install it and run it safely? How do you like it? What times and HP increments am I looking at? Is it worth it? Yada...Yada...

Any input and ideas are more than welcome.

Thanks guys. :nice:

I just put this same kit on my car two weeks ago and it comes complete for a stock application. I have a C&L meter and that required a little fab work to use. I also had an oil cooler and did a little fab work for that as well and then wound up getting rid of it anyway. Comes with a T-rex pump and boost timing retard that I am not using just yet as I only see about 5psi and just have the timing set at 10deg. I had a Vortech on my other car and liked it and found it to be reliable. If your not stock, you will need to address those issues related to using the kit such as fuel and tuning.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. :nice:

Installed the complete high output kit on my pretty much bone stock 94GT (at the time all i had was exhaust and gears). The kit is Very complete, even comes with zipties.

After getting it on the dyno, I found that the FMU cal disc they include for the GT's 19lb injectrs made it run way to rich, A/F was 9.5:1 up top. Ended up swapping to the Cobra disc and picking up some power but still was in the 10.5:1 range A/F wise, still plenty safe.

Go for it, you'll love it.
