I know zero about blowers, and i'm getting conflicting info from partshouses and installers. I want to run a S trim at about 8 lbs. of boost. do I need 24 pound injectors and a matching MAF? I was told 19 pounders will support upwards of 400 HP. i'm tryng to figure out air/fuel ratio numbers and nailing down a cost for this mod.

At 300 HP the 19 lb. injectors will be pushing the limits and possibly choking themselves off.

24lb injectors are good to about 380 HP I've been told. From that point on, I think you'll have to go with 30s.

Play it safe, most of the people that i've seen on here with superchargers have 30lb or more injectors.

30-42 would be ideal I ran 30#'s with my vortech V1-SC trim with maching 75MM calibrated for the 30lbers without any issues, but then again the car needed a tune.

If your car is all stock and you want to add the S-trim you can get by with your stock injectors provided you use the supplied FMU. (fuel management unit) Eventually it's a good idea to add larger injectors and a properly calibrated MAF, and then you can ditch the FMU.

With doing so your going to have to turn up your fuel pressure, and your probably going to be close to maxxing out your 19lb injectors at full boost.

Edit: And I don't know about you, but i'd rather run rich than lean. Detonation is a bad thing

Yeah, the 19lb injectors aren't ideal by any means, but you can get by with them on a bone stock 5.0 with just a blower if you use the FMU. The FMU increases fuel pressure. The 12:1 FMU that comes with the kit will add 12psi of fuel pressure for every lb of boost. This combined with conservative timing and the Boost timing retard that comes in the kit will be pretty safe. A stcok 5.0 with a Vortech isn't going to make much more than 300 rwhp. If you you had heads, cam, intake, etc., I would say get 42 lb injectors and a new MAF for sure. If you don't want to run an FMU, I would say use 30lb injectors, but if you ever add more parts down the road you will need to upgrade them again. I've used 19's, 24's ,then 30's, and now 42's. Everytime you have to swap injectors it's a few hundred $. Just my .02
