I have stumbled across a Complete but wrecked t-bird SUPERcoupe for really cheap and i was wondering if i could use anything from it such as the rearend, front spindles, brakes, etc. i wasnt sure how similiar these cars are to the Fox platform mustang. The car runs good and aside from being smashed up in the front is ok. I could use a Disc rearend and bigger brakes if i could scavenge them from this car. Are they 5 lug? Also how good are these motors? A small supercharged V6 could be lots of fun in the MG I dont figure its a simple swap for the mustang so the 2.3T is still the plan for that. Anyone have any input? Should i get the car or is it totally different?

yank the blower and sell it on ebay for 2-3 times what you paid.
Pull the intercooler, and sell it to me for what you paid.

I would say the swap would be real simple, that would be cool to.

I think the SC got an IRS rear suspension, and I would almost bet the front is basically SN95.
I think you'll have to find out from turboford, or another higher source than stangnet.

I think all 89 and up cougars and tbirds are IRS equipped. Not really at all similar to a Fox chassis. This is also used for the MarkVIII.

Super Coupes are on the MN-12 (I think it is?) platform which is totally different from the Mustang. IRS that you can't use, dunno about the front brakes. Engine would be worth pulling if you had a use for it, intercooler too. What year is it? Engine should be around 210 hp.

If you could buy the car, take the good parts and then sell it for scrap, I'd go for it.
