I've got a 65 conv, w/ a 289 pretty much stock except for an edelbrock 600 cfm carb, performer intake, petronix ignition, flame thrower coil, 8.8 wires, and an MSD-6. I just swapped the tranny from a C-4 to a T-5, did the shelby upper control arm drop, redid the steering, converted to Wilwood discs, and put in a dual stage power master cylinder, but for some reason the engine surges now, it's idling like cr*p, and just not running very well. Anyone got an idea what the heck might have happened? It was running smoothly before the tranny swap.

yeah i put the plug in the hole in the intake. I also doubt that the booster is bad for two reasons, one it's brand new, and two the pedal pressure is super light when the engine's running. that's what's got me wondering what happened
