I called to see if Baer made a 13" non drilled, non slotted rear rotor kit for my 2001 GT. I didn't want said options because I went with the Cobra Front upgrade that had standard 13" rotors. Well to make a long story short, speaking to Bill Kopinger, he informed me that that even though they didn't advertise a non-drilled kit, they'd be glad to build me a set minus the holes and slots. It may not sound like a big deal, but I was having a hell of a time finding some big rotors for the rears that wouldn't break the bank. I'll have to get back to you guys to let you know how they turned out as they aren't installed yet. And if I can figure out how, i'll post up a picture or two. Oh yeah.. $235.00 + shipping for rotors and brackets.

I've heard of alot of issues with that rear kit. One of the reasons I stayed away from it. Maybe they got the bugs worked out.
I've also heard of issues, but I think the main problem was with the crossdrilling with no ventilation between. I heard that it was causing noise. I'm hoping my rotors cut plain won't have that problem. I'll let you all know if they work out well.
I have heard people complain of fitment problems/ bracket location issues/cable issues and one guys was locked up. I know a few who ditched them for the 11.65" Cobra rears
Yeah, 13" rotors in the rear are a little overkill, but they will look great. And what the heck, if I get a little better performance then that's and added bonus. Recently the wife and I added Eibach springs, shocks, and struts. CC plates, SLP Loudmouth2 catback, Cobra front brakes, and subframe connectors. I never realized that a foxbody car could handle halfway decent, but the car has gone from understeer, to neutral/mild oversteer, which is easy to control with the feed pedal. This summer comes the KB 9#, and I figure the car will be pretty much setup for some serious fun.

I got the Baer 13" rotors on the back yesterday that are cross-drilled and slotted. I know they don't match my front Cobra 13" brakes, but they will someday when I replace the brembos.
