Back when my car had 3.00 rear gears, I just relied on the aired down Hoosier's for traction. Well that hasn't worked out so well with the 4.11's. Now with a 4k stall converter, and over 450 rwhp, it's certainly not going to work well.

What are your suggestions for suspension setup on a 70 coupe? Front sway bar is gone, I currently have KYB Gas-A-Just all the way around, and new bushings everywhere. I would like to keep the car somewhat level, but with 275/60/15's replacing my current 275/55/14's, I have a feeling I'm going to need to lift the car slightly in the rear. What springs are recommended both front and rear?

How about traction bars and subframe connectors? I have no problem welding in a set if they're recommended, but I see the price between tubular and box isn't too much. What have you all ran with luck?

I'd like to cut a 1.6 60' consistently. I will be running a C4 off the footbrake with a 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial. The car will have plenty of power to do it, it's just getting that power to the wheels. I want this car to launch violently.

You need traction bars

You need traction bars. CalTracs (Calvert Racing) are the best. If you are really serious get a set of their monoleaf rear springs while you are at it.

A guy on the FE forum is running a 69 Mach 1 with a 511 cubic inch motor. He is running 10.60 quarter miles with a set of Caltracs and DOT drag radials.
