Hi,

I've got the Bullitt/Mach suspension kit installed on my vert (springs, shocks, swaybars). It handles great but the drop was not much at all, maybe 1/2". It's really started to annoy me lately visually. So, if I buy the Eibach pro kit springs for a convertible to replace the Mach springs will I throw off the "handling package" you get from the Mach kit? The Eibachs are progressive with different spring ratings than the Mach springs. How do you guys think this will this affect the Mach sway bars? IIRC the Mach sway bars have a smaller diameter than the stock sway bars so will I have to put the stock sway bars back on? Kinda defeats the purpose of the kit if I'm only utilizing the shocks. It's my daily driver so I can't mess with taking things on and off too much. Especially when it's getting colder and colder here in NJ. What do you guys think??

I went through the same thing you are going through. I ended up sending back the bullitt kit for Eibach Pros and Tokico HPs and am very happy with the results. I am guessing that the Eibach springs with Mach struts/shocks should handle just fine. I have heard others out there that have that setup.

Glad I'm not the only one! Unfortunately, I don't think Jegs would take it back now. I think I'm going to pick up the Eibach Pros and run them with the Tokikos. I might pick up the Eibach sway bars while I'm at it, just gotta check what $$ I have left.

Yeah, mine's a little harsher on bumps too but I like it. Gives it a sportier feel and keeps my chiropractor happy...LOL. I'm guessing the Pro kit will be better though since they're progressive instead of linear. We'll see. I haven't measured yet but the fronts springs either raised mine or kept it the same too. Stock height is 28.5" right?

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it.

I have the kit and my drop was about 1". Just measured the front at 27.5" with 255/45/R17's. I'm happy.

Mine is vert too. I have saleen springs. They are too low. I have no idea who make saleen springs but they slam the car. I have x2 ball joints too so that make even lower. My underbrace has about 1" or little more clearence then that. i think i will have to take the brace out. if you want to drive your car without problems. don't get saleen springs. they are too low
