How much will aftermarket suspension help running street tires. My car hooks good off the line but spins second bad. Its just a 14 second car so this shouldnt be a problem. About 3 years ago i used to race it a lot and on potenza tires it hooked even with nitrous. Something in my suspension must have changed. I put new potenza's on it and still same thing. Spins second gear so bad on the track i could pat the gas. On the road 2nd hooks pretty good.. any ideas?

I guess im gonna get upper and lower control arms and put polyurathane bushings in the rearend too. Then put some 50/50's on the back..

Any ideas would be helpful

Maybe it's road or track conditions that changed. My RLCA's didn't really do jack for me, along with the rest of my suspension, but it's not complete yet so maybe once I have the whole ball of wax on it'll finally hook.

Well, It hooked before at all the tracks.. now it dont at any track. The road isnt too bad. I lowered my tire pressure all the way to 20psi which helped a little on launch but none downtrack. I have removed my swaybar. Thanks.. any more suggestions?

well with my 4.10 and only 245's in the back, i plan on gettin subframes and upper/lower control arms so hopefully i can plant my tires a lil better. still wish i got those stupid 275's :(

I think one of my bushing in my rearend's screwed up. It keeps sliding out of the rear end and the car feels like it has slicks on it all the time... back end feels looose. First time i drove it and it was like that i pulled over and shook the car.. thought the wheels were loose or something. I guess im gonna buy those polyurathane bushings for the rearend from jegs.. and get some good upper control arms too. Hopefully that'll fix all the problems
