I was looking into replacing my struts/shocks on a 1990 vert, I am on a tight budget but don't want cheapies. I think tokico and koni might be out of my price range, but I don't know what a good price for them would be. I was looking at the KYB GR2's and they seem to be in the middle price and quality wise, what are you all using?

one of my older cars had the cheap kyb's and the energy suspension poly bushing kit.

handled awesome....if that isn't enuff, do the eibach springs and most importantly the hpm mega-bite jr's

you won't be dissapointed.

I hate my KYB's. They handle good, but the ride quality is terrible. This is with factory springs. Go Tokico!

Don't go cheap on suspension - wait until you can afford it and get it right the first time. I just installed a set of Bilsteins from www.shox.com for $465 shipped. I also put in FRPP B springs, MM LCAs and Steeda UCAs - car handles like it's on rails - one of the most satisfying mods I have done in a long time!

I always replaced my struts/shocks with KYB. I would not consider them cheapos like something from a parts store rack. But no they aren't Koni's or Tokicos.
