I am droping in a V8 into my car, but it is the last thing on the list (probely not for another 6-9 months). First i'm doing a body kit then I want to do suspension kit. I am putting the 8.8 rear end on my car but I am also adding lowering springs and upper and lower control arms. Now my question is, the lowering springs and control arms have 2 different sets one for '94-98 3.8' and '94-98 4.6' now i was just going to buy the sets for the 4.6, will it be alright if I have the sets for the 4.6 if I'm driving with the 3.8 motor in there right now? Will it make a difference, even if at this moment I don't have the 4.6 in there? So just to make sure its clear, is it alright to put lowering spring for 94-98 4.6L and upper and lower control arms for 94-98 4.6L on a '96 3.8L? or should I just wait to do the suspension to when I put the engine in?

Ok, then why did you write anything anyway, just to be an ass? last time I posted in both places I got help from different people that helped out alot, so I did it again, not to hard to look over it, if you've already seen it.

the nose might sit slightly high with the 3.8. it weighs a little less than the 4.6. Otherwise, there will be no problems.
As far as control arms, they are the same between the 4.6 and 3.8.

But this is a tech question. You break the forums rules by posting in both sections. I really don't care but i figured i would let ya know by giving u a sarcastic response. Therefore i can be my normal self and let you know whats up at the same time. And you'll be fine with the suspension set up. No worries. I use aftermarket 4.6L upper and lower control arms on my 8.8" in my v6 and it works out just fine.
