There are 3 things I'm considering upgrading on my car.

1.) Strut tower brace
2.) G load brace
3.) Subframe connectors

Can anyone who has these mods comment on what kind of difference they make? Are they worth buying? The stock convertible frame seems to flex way too much, I'm just wondering which of these will make the greatest improvements.

All three of those upgrades will make your car feel sooo much tighter and better. I have a strut tower brace, k-member brace, subframe connectors and panhard bar and i love it. The chassis doesn't flex nearly as much as it would without those items. Well worth the money. The subframe connectors made the biggest difference to me.

Definetly weld your subframes in, and when you do, make sure that the car is sitting on the suspension as it would be when your driving the car. Bolt in subframes are pretty much useless garbage.

Also, would it be the same thing to get bolt on conectors temporarily and then just weld them in later, or is there some difference?

Go ahead and bolt them in, but get them welded in as soon as you can. Its much better than nothing at all.

I personally would not buy the connectors you listed. For one, its only 14 ga steel, which in my opinion is too thin. Besides, I wouldn't trust a company that uses "ga" to advertise how thick-walled the steel is.. how many people actually know that 14ga is .074"? They also claim the connectors are so strong "there is no need to connect to the seat". The main purpose of the seat connectors are to keep them from elongating the holes.

Could you elaborate on this a bit? I was wondering what the seat braces were for..

Our floorpans tend to tear around the seat bolt holes, so subs with seatbraces attempt to reduce or eliminate the flex in that area. Don't even bother bolting your subs in, even temporarily - just get them welded.

Agreed. You are bolting to something with the structural integrity of a wet noodle. (which is why they're needed) I'ts an exersize in futility, and just asking for trouble. This is a suspension foundation mod, it doesn't pay to go cheap on them.

Enough talk about the bolting in deal, honestly if you're looking for GOOD connectors, you really should only be looking at 3 places, or fabbing your own. And none of those places have bolt in connectors (Griggs, MM, GW).
