I'm thinking about putting in an Air ride suspension in my cobra. I'm wondering what everyone thinks about it. I don't know much about air ride so i need opinions on it in comparison to lowered stiff springs, which i have right now. I know that air ride is a hella lot smoother when your on the road but what is the difference in handling. I have heard it handles better and I have heard they both handle the same. I like taking my turns really fast soo it is kinda important. Like a 30 mph recommended turn at 60 type thing you know. So any ideas on it please give me input.

i have heard lots of good things about air ride. never in a mustang though. i would think that it would do really well. especially for a street car or corner carver. i have seen them put in other muscle cars new and old and it does wonders for the suspension.

They make a kit for WRXs that is supposed to handle great. Most of the gains in mustang handling is done through changes in suspension geometry (aka mm k-member), which I dont think the air ride would be able to do. It would probably handle like a good spring, shock combo but not as good as a k-member, torque arm car.
