Caveat- I've hit the search button a number of times - still a newbie so don't crush me.

My car will not be a track car, it will not be a daily driver, mostly a weekend/project car.

Really what I want is to throw on a 5 lug with FR500's or SVT wheels. I'm looking for guidance on a suspension setup. I want to do this only once, but do it right. I don't mind spending some dough. Coilovers, etc.

(Picture for attention)

SN95 brakes. You'll want 94-95 spindles up front, and you'll want to keep fox track out back using brackets from north race cars.

You can pick if you want GT or Cobra brakes.

That will fit the wheels like as seen in pix, and then you can drop it accordingly

Assuming you don't go crazy with tire width all you need is sn brakes up front. 94-95gt/v6 specifically and ranger axles in the back if you do not want to do a disc conversion.

Here's a good start for all new parts, only problem is the spindles are wrong unless you get a Maximum Motorsports K member to correct it... you really want 94/95 spindles for a stock front K Member. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/tech_front_susp_spindle_warning.aspx

https://lmr.com/item/SVE-2300AK/Fox-Mustang-5-Lug-Conversion-Kit

Then you'll need wheels/tires.

As for the suspension, it's way easier to do it all once so look to Maximum Motorsports there as well. I highly recommend coilovers from them and suggest you call them to decide on spring rates as that will drastically effect the ride quality vs. handling and those guys (Jack specifically) can really help you out. I'd say go MM coilovers in the front with their caster/camber plates and matching shocks and whatever rear springs they recommend along with their adjustable lower rear control arms and new stock factory upper control arms (no poly bushings).

My daily driver's had 94 spindles, 99 pbr dual piston calipers with ranger axles and drums out back for years now with zero issues.
