I have an 88 gt vert with a QA1 frame and a-arms,front KYB GR2 struts,a coil over kit,bbk caster/camber plates.ALL BRAND NEW.My problem is i can't get the springs(175lbs) to compress enough to install the strut/caster/camber hardware.Im using a floor jack in my garage which is lifting the car off the jack stands!
I believe i should be building the coilovers and caster/camber kit before installing it into the car.The spacer seems to be too large between the strut and the caster/camber plates.Is grinnding it down a safe option?
