Same here, took me 4 hours to do springs, shock & struts and swaybars. It was my first time doing suspension on any car too. Just remember to place the springs tails in the exact same position as the old ones. On the front springs, the lower A-arm has 2 holes in it(you might have to clean out the dust and rust to see it), remember to cover only one hole and not both.
anyone wana help me put the stuff listed below on? or any of it? i was planning on a shop doing it but hey, if it could be done for alot cheaper i would like to do that, and most importantly ill know how to do it.
Springs are easy. Took me four hours to do the install with one jack, four jackstands and a basic selection of tools. Having an extra set of hands really helps. Dont spend 200+ dollars on install.
Just finished my install today in a little less than 4 hours with 2 guys, a jack, 2 jackstands, and 2 craftsman mechanics sets of tools. Tokico HP shocks/struts, and springs. Cake install but not low enough I'm afraid
My buddy put on my springs in just under two hours with 4 jackstands and a floor Jack in his garage start to finish.. He's done it quite a few times though.
