Been working hard on the '66 suspension. I found out that you speed up if you slow down. The front was pretty easy, just built cups for the front and welded in plates for the lower control arms. The rear was a PAIN IN THE ASS. I converted it over to a 4 link... not a lot of room in that little car for a 4 link. I had to build a brace that bolts in for the upper bars. The brace is a lot like the Airride kit brace but Im using over the axle bags, not air shocks.
Still have to weld on shock tabs and buy the shocks...but it feels good for it to finally be on the ground.
This is all the way down. The top 4 link bars hits the brace and cannot go any lower.
