Been working hard on the '66 suspension. I found out that you speed up if you slow down. The front was pretty easy, just built cups for the front and welded in plates for the lower control arms. The rear was a PAIN IN THE ASS. I converted it over to a 4 link... not a lot of room in that little car for a 4 link. I had to build a brace that bolts in for the upper bars. The brace is a lot like the Airride kit brace but Im using over the axle bags, not air shocks.

Still have to weld on shock tabs and buy the shocks...but it feels good for it to finally be on the ground.

This is all the way down. The top 4 link bars hits the brace and cannot go any lower.

this is about ride height...the rear will come down a bit:

I will get pics of the 4 link when I get the car back up in the air... Right now, I have no exhaust pipes It is dumped under the backseat. Im going to see what we can do about exhaust. I think it will end up with side exit exhaust.

Whats wrong with dumps? Car does look bad ass slammed. I wish mine sat like that but I'm stuck (broke $$$) with regular springs...... It would be cool to see the exhaust out of the rocker panel.

Sorry man... I forgot to add that I have a MustangII front end. I can get pics of it later when I get pics of the 4 link. Just have to get the car back in the air.
