Suspension kits!!

What's the best suspension kit for my 2007GT? I don't want to lose a lot of ride comfort, I don't want the car totally on the floor or to have to install a camber kit. I was thinking of the FRPP kit. My friend has it on his GT is the a another kit hat will provide same ride height and comfort as the FRPP but possibly handle better??

Careful someone might accuse you of Trolling, whatever that means. I've been tryin to get help w/ susp set up and was told I was "Trolling", oh well maybe that's a good thing? You also might look into Vogtland Springs. I've heard thay maintain good ride charachteristics, moderate lowering, and are less than Eibach and FRPP. I was goin to use FRPP until every dealer in houston told me I had to buy the entire kit. I said BS, so am leaning toward the Vogtlands. BTW they are also German Made if that means anything.

Every suspension setup is a compromise between handling and ride comfort. If you want to retain a mostly stock ride then I'd say the FFRP kit is the ticket, especially if you've rode in a friends car thus equipped and liked it. The kits are expensive but will give you a much better result than piecing it together yourself or doing the job half assed. Whatever kit or parts you decide on, stick with them for everything you add. Kits like the FRPP/ Eibach/ Steeda are not just thrown together. They spend considerable time tuning the parts to work together. If you want the job done right, the kits are well worth it.

I have the BMR lowering kit and I am completely happy with it.

I chose the Roush springs which don't lower the car too much and give very good comfort. However, I also swopped out the shocks for Tokico D-Spec adjustables which means you can set the car for how comfortable you want it but still have the option to set it hard. I use the stock sway bars and have had no problem in the handling department in the UK on difficult and demanding roads.

How do you like your D-Specs? I am contemplating them and am hoping to reduce rear end wheel travel on my lowered stang. The stock shocks are pretty compressed after installing the BMR 1.5 (rear) lowering springs.

I like them a lot and Steeda used to use them on the Screaming Q which is always a good endorsement. I set it on the midway setting - they're basically 5 turns from soft to hard and the ride is great. When I go on one of our road runs with TVRs, lambos, porsches and M5s, I set it on 2nd hardest and it's still great. I think on the hardest setting it would bounce and bumpsteer too much on UK roads so 2nd hardest is about optimum. Actually it's still on that setting as you never really get round to putting it back.

I want a suspension kit as well for my GT and I want either the Roush or the FRPP because they provide warranties, which is always a good thing... especially since a car I owned previously had a CV joint give way while I was driving it. Not so fun. So which is the better setup? I want to say Roush because of the racing technology behind it, but I don't want to look the other way if the FRPP is the better choice especially since it's slightly less expensive and I could care less about ride comfort... I want the performance.
