I have a 91 GT that needs to be lowered. The suspension is totally stock and ive got about 2 inches of space above the tires. Can someone recommend me a decent setup including springs and shocks? The eibach pro kit looks nice but is a little spendy. looking to stay cheap as possible. thanks

You might want to search for pics of stangs with B springs. They drop the car a good bit (more than advertised IMHO) and are cheaper amongst the non-generic springs.

As for the Prokit, it's what I run on the 94 (apples to oranges) but I will say I really like the spring rate. HP's work well with the Prokit IMHO.

Good luck.

We discontinued using Eibach and have switched everything to Vogtland springs. They are more affordable and in our opinion are better quality than Eibach. They use a proprietary alloy steel made for them which allows them to make the spring lighter compared to other spring companies. They designed and use this alloy in all the springs they produce including the springs they make for the NASCAR series. You can order them directly from partshopper.com or us at www.hotpart.com. For more information on them you can visit our site which has a very good description. They will drop your car 1.2 inches front and rear.
