I'm looking for a suspension upgrade package for my 67 mustang. I'd like spring perch and idler arm, sway bar and maybe upper control arms.

Can you recommend a good package? This would be for a mid 12 second street car.

NPD has pretty much any type of suspension package you might want... ranging from basic sway bar (f,r)/spring (f,r)/bushing/shock combinations to $10,000 coil over things and everything in between.

Opentracker has most of that stuff too.

You have lots of options, might want to narrow down your price range, goals, whats already been done to the car, etc.

How much can I spend - whatever it takes to have the power go to the wheels somewhat efficiently.

What's done to the car....... In terms of suspension it's stock. Otherwise new motor, trans, rear end (posi) and drive shaft. My goal is city driving suspension because it'll spend most of its time from light to light.

i'll check those companies for packages. This will be my first suspension upgrade.

If you are going to stay with a stock style suspension definately get the Opentracker roller spring perches.

Put poly on all the dustboots and stay away from poly for the lower arm bushing as it will make your ride a lot more harsh.

Opentracker also has a roller idler arm which should help to smooth out the steering a bit. If you end up needed the steering box rebuilt check out http://www.stangerssite.com/ He has quite a good reputation.

I would suguest calling up John over at Opentracker and having a talk with him. He will get you straight and only sell you what you need, nothing more.
