Suspension pics

I Have a suspension dilemma. I want my car to launch decent but I want it lowered. From what I have read most drag launch springs dont lower cars very much and since I have a notch I suppose not at all. What can you guys tell me about your suspension. I would like your ratings. Pics, does it launch, does it handle? I was thinking of doing the eibach sportlines with steeda upper and lower control arms. Will that be too low for long tubes? Any help is appreciated, Thanks

I'm not an expert, but I thought they made products that you can adjust the ride height in the rear. I know for example that QA1 makes a rear coilover kit that gives you 6" of ride height adjustment, but it says it's "race only". What I do know for a fact is that for the $$$, you can get an Air-Ride suspension that you can lower for the street, raise for the track, or tune for auto-cross. I'm not sure how they perform at the strip, nad they will add more weight, but it might be something to look into.
However, the latest Air-Ride products "are no longer just for lowriders and looks!"

i've got lakewoods all around, and new isolators, minus the rear. eibach drag springs cut about 1- 1 1\4 coil. sits right, and launchs like a slingshot

Put you some ford racing motorsport lowering springs (the progessive rate not the specific) and some 90/10 lakewood drag struts and top of with adjustable rear upper control arms to get that pinion angle. Taa da. you got a lowered car taht will launch fairly well. But without the drag springs you wont ever hook like a whore fixin to see her pimp with only 10 dollars in hand.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT MACH 1 STRUTS AND SHOCKS WITH ADJ. UPPER. AND SOME KIND OF SPRINGS. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF CUT DRAG LAUNCH SPRINGS? I JUST NEED IT TO HOOK WELL ENOUGH TO OUTRUN ALL THE LOCAL PUNKS WHO THINK THEIR ****. I AM SHOOTING TO HIT MID EIGHT IN THE 1/8TH ON STREET TIRES AND 17x8.5'S. THE CAR ISN'T COMPLETELY PUT TOGETHER YET BUT AT THIS POINT I HAVE A PORT MATCHED TUBULAR GT40 UPPER AND LOWER, 70MM THROTTLEBODY AND SPACER, 70 SN95 MAF, MAC LT'S, OR H-PIPE, SMOG PUMP (IN TRASH PILE), AC BIPASSED, SN95 SPINDLES AND REAREND. THIS WINTER I PLAN ON GOING 331 AND ADDING HEAD AND CAM.

Did you go with 70/30 or 90/10 up front?

Don't forget good lowers with poly or spherical bushings. Those 15 year old, oval, worn out factory rubber bushings aren't exactly the hot new setup for precise and hard launches..
