im considering doing some suspension mods in the near future and i was wondering if you can lower the 4x4 and still improve your grip for the launch im on a pretty tight budget so no massive suspension swap is possible, just thinking springs and maybe shocks/struts, ive seen drag suspensions and...no, even higher than stock i hate the way they look, kinda want the best of both worlds, and hoping it'll come kinda cheap any advice is appreciated.

The bullitt suspension setup will get you a better launch and about a 1 inch drop, with new springs, shocks, struts and F&R sway bars for $400. Quite a bargain. If you want a little more extreme, Fox springs seem to be a cheap ticket for weight transfer - ck out this very informative (sticky) thread on ModularDepot: Five Components to a 12 second NA GT

I just picked up some Fox 4 Cyl springs for the front...20 bucks! Actually about to put them on this afternoon. From what I hear I can expect about an inch or so drop...depending on what I do w the spring isolators. Then in the back, I have HPM Mega Bites LCA's on their lowest setting and I plan on taking off the isolators I installed and hopefully it will not only look right but have good weight transfer which ultimately is what I want...
