I am looking for a good suspension and lowering package. I want about a 1.5" drop for my 02 GT. I am basically looking for a "better than stock" upgrade, not for an all out drag or road race suspension package. I would like to replace the springs, shocks, struts, lower control arms, and sway bar bushings. Also, this car has 70,000 miles on it, is there anything else on the handling/suspension/undercarriage that I should replace due to the mileage? Thanks.

pulling all that out i'd go ahead with the upper control arms, replace ALL bushings while you are at it. maybe replace the rear sway bar. and add a strut tower brace while you are at it. that then covers about everything without getting too far in.

though i think i'd do subframes before the STB. i'll change to full length subframe connectors over the strut tower brace. subframes will help with the body flex that does tend to become more evident over time.

that should be about it. good stuff really.

Eibach Pro kit plus= Shocks and struts springs and swaybars. All at once or piece at a time. Simple, but effective...

Don't know what the road conditions are for where you live but if they are not too potholed (rough) I'd say it'd be hard to top the MRT race springs and Tokico struts/shocks and they lowered mine about the distance you want.

Along with all you mentioned you wanted to change I would consider ball joints and rack bushings while you're in there changing everything else.
