I've been planning this for awhile. Thing is I don't want to go ahead and try something and then hate myself later.

Right now my suspension is pretty much original, other than the balljoints, strut rods and tierod ends, which have been replaced.

I've looked at the tubular kits and wonder about these. What are the real benefits of upgrading to that, other than the obvious improved strength? Does it help with a smoother ride or give more stability in hard corners? Anything else to justify the pricetag?

I'm also wondering about the hassel of having lower control arm bushings pressed in and what that will cost me in both headaches and wallet density. Can anyone comment on that?

The reason I'm asking is because PST offers a non-tubular Front End Kit where it appears that the bushings are already pressed in and the whole control arm is supplied. Of course you have to buy the whole kit and since I'm from Canada I'll have to pay extra for shipping and take an additional 34% gouge in border tax. It'll cost me about $300 American+shipping, but still, I'm wondering if it's cheaper and less hassle to do it this way.

Also with the polygraphite bushings, will my ride become similar to driving a tank over potholes?
