I think im going with Bilsteins all around with H&R Sport Springs. I may go Super Sport......i havent fully decided....
anyway....my question is......the rubbers in the shocks both on the top of the strut tower and in the shock mount itself.....
should those be replaced? I imagine so since mine are stock. I have new spring isolators etc comming with my springs.....but the rubbers...were do you get such a thing? SHould that be replaced with Poly or just go to the dealer ship and get the same old rubber? Im having troubles finding what i should run.
I have the rear tore apart already and thought i would ask before i get too far.
I dont know if you can get poly ones or if i should just go to the dealership and get replacements there?
Also...with the spring install do i need to put that large rubber isolator that goes inside the spring in? WHat is that? It is in my stock springs both front and rear. Is this to minimize squeaking or somthing?
Im also haveing a heck of a time getting the lower quad shock bolt out or loose. I cant get on it with any sort of socket. It is too close to the rear brake housing.....the inner bolt head...i can get on that but i cant turn it either way and my car isnt up high enough to get any torque on it. Ill have to figure something out there...
I have some old KYB quads that ill probably throw on there. Ive had them in the garage for like 4 years....just sitting. Might as well put them on while im in there....
Thanks for the replies in advance guys!
