Hey guys. I am going to getting some suspension work done to my car in the next few months. Every now and then I read something about you need this or that to do it right. So I want H&R SS Springs (I have read they are the best?). What shocks/struts should I get? What other misc. parts do I need so that it isn't half assed. I know an alignment, but what else? What should the whole package cost for parts? How about average labor to get it all installed? Thanks guys!:SNSign:

4X4 look FTL:notnice:

(posted this over in talk, but I realized I would probably get more responses over here)

i dont really know the answer to your question but one tip i can give you is if you lower it be careful on the choice of how low. i have eibach sportline springs and my exhaust hits on certain things like speed bumps. on this year car the exhaust seems to be a little lower than the exhaust on 99+ models.

The H&R Supersports are simply the way to go if you really
want to get rid of the 4X4 stance. If you drive careful over
things like speed bumps you shouldn't scrap or hit the bottom
of your car.You should get a good 1.8-2" drop from the H&R SS's
after they settle in about month or so.With that kind of drop on
your car I would get Steeda or Maximum Motorsports caster chamber
plates for sure they are both good choices. The Bilstien struts and shocks
are excellent quality and will last a long time to come on a lowered car.
Soon after you install you springs get an alignment from a reputable shop
that knows what they are doing. After your springs are installed post
some pics of your car please. :nice:

Thanks! I appricaite your opinion a lot man! I was wondering about little things like I think I read somewhere Kilgore said something about offset rack bushings. Just little things like that as well. If they are "needed" (not: can I get by without them) I wanna do them.

I just got my windows tinted yesterday. 20% and sides and 15% on the rear. Looks awesome. I also ordered an O/R Pro Chamber to throw on there because I have wanted it for a while.

Trying to get the car in photo shape for its possible photo shoot coming up within a few months. (LINK IS NWS!!!!!) http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=667794&page=3

After the suspension is done I might do a Mach 1 Chin spoiler and a 94-98 Cobra R hood. MAYBE a lightbar...MAYBE. Oh and I definetly will need some new exhuast tips. Anyone know a good place to order these from and what size and style to get (2.5, 3, 3.5, Rolled, Angle cut, Rolled and Angle ect.). Thanks for any input guys!

With H&R SS springs you defiantly want to get some CC plates. My choice would be MMs(not M&Ms :D ). The shock/struts would be Bilsteins, those are the best out there I think.

Thanks!

I think I will be getting H&R SS, MM CC plates, and Bilsteins. What else is needed?

Also....Anyone know a good place to order these from and what size and style to get (2.5, 3, 3.5, Rolled, Angle cut, Rolled and Angle ect.)
