I'm sure some have but it seems counter-productive to me. If you've got access to that many good SVO parts then just take the whole car and use it.

i saw an SVO that had been converted to a 87-93 front end... it had the SVO rims and interior and that flimsy useless wing on the hatch... but it had a 87-93 front end... only thing i could think of was that it got in an accident and SVO front ends cost BOOTY so they just bought aftermarket parts... i dont blame em... headlights for SVO's are like $300-500 new!!!

Useless wing? If you've read the design history on this car that upper bi-wing helped in producing down force more so then a single wing. As far as "flimsy" goes there are ways to make the wing stronger by using supports. Besides, it is one of the trademarks for these cars.
