I'm gathering up parts so I can get my car painted and I came across some svo skirts for cheap. Only problem is that they have some cracks in them. Is it even worth it to try and fix these or should I pass on them?

Actually, this one can stay in tech with the repair aspect. Are they fiberglass, or urethane?

he said their authentic svo skirts so I'm assuming urethane.

I attached some pics of the cracks. The pic quality isn't very good.

Are the cracks all the way through, or just cracks in the paint? Even if they are urethane, you can use fiberglass cloth and resin on the backside to hold them together, and use filler on the top to cover up the crack. It's pretty inexpensive.

Authentic ones that have SVO stamped in them are FIBERGLASS, not urethane.

Which is precisely why I went the custom route with ones from abcexclusive..

I've messed up mine a few times, once ripped it right off the car in half right before the SVO. Yes, the originals are fiberglass. We mat & glassed the backside and on the exposed side we ground out the cracked areas making a channel for glass resin then bondo'd. Sanded and repainted. Had them on for past 11yrs and still going strong.
